- THERAPISTS & COACHES -
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
Therapists
Therapists at Praxis are licensed professionals (such as Marriage and Family Therapists, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, or Clinical Psychologists) trained to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of emotional and relational challenges. Grounded in our core values of humility, insight, and community, they excel at helping individuals, couples, and families deepen self-awareness, heal relational patterns, and foster lasting well-being. By nature of the licensing governing body for clinicians, therapists can only practice therapy with you if you reside in the state they are licensed in.
Coaches
Coaches at Praxis are experienced professionals trained to translate personal insights into purposeful action. Unlike therapists, they do not assess, diagnose, or treat emotional and relational challenges. Instead, coaches provide structured guidance, accountability, and practical tools to help clients clarify goals, overcome obstacles, and sustain meaningful progress in the direction of living authentically. Grounded in our core values of humility, insight, and community, they excel at empowering men to grow, adapt, and lead with intention in all areas of life. Coaches have the flexibility to work across state lines.
Community Facilitators
Community facilitators at Praxis can be either coaches or therapists and function to facilitate shared experiences that bring men together in authentic connection. In this role, they do not assess or treat emotional challenges nor do they provide structured one-on-one guidance. Instead, they create open, supportive spaces where members can share, reflect, and grow collectively. Grounded in our core values of humility, insight, and community, these leaders foster a sense of belonging, accountability, and mutual empowerment—ensuring no one navigates the journey alone.
